Our Story
The Listing Squirrel began as nothing more than an idea, one that took root in the mind of Colleen Cline.
It suits her, in truth — she’s something of a squirrel herself, a nickname earned through her playful enthusiasm, her boundless creativity, her quiet determination, and her gift for encouraging success and happiness in everyone around her.
Colleen has called the relocation industry her own since 2002, and from the start, she watched client after client struggle under the weight of a move — the worry, the second-guessing, the sheer stress that comes with selling or buying a home. Too many agents, she found, were content to nudge homeowners toward every upgrade and expense imaginable, all in pursuit of a sale that merely looked easier. Her question was never idle: easier for whom? Buyers, she noticed, fared no better. Few agents paused to consider the toll of a move in its entirety — the coordination, the disruption, the sheer weight of change — let alone attended to it as a whole. Guiding her clients through only a fraction of that experience left her frustrated. She knew there had to be more to offer. She simply didn’t know how far that instinct would carry her.
She earned her Real Estate License in 2008, determined to understand every corner of the process from the inside out. With the same crafty, resourceful instincts that had earned her the “squirrel” nickname, she taught herself, adapted, and built a real estate career entirely on her own.
Years later, seasoned by experience, she raised her ambitions further still — earning her Real Estate Broker’s License in 2020. Building two thriving careers at once, in real estate and in relocation, she held herself to the same exacting standard in both.
That dual mastery gave Colleen an insight few others in the industry possessed. She had seen firsthand how the moving industry could offer real savings without ever asking clients to sacrifice care, quality, or service. And so, she found herself asking one simple, unavoidable question:
Why shouldn’t buying or selling a home offer the very same choice?
That question became a mission — and out of it, The Listing Squirrel was born, created to give people every option they deserved, without a single compromise.
